On December 22, 2025, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama granted an audience to Khenpo Tenzin Chödrak, head of the Kalmyk Buddhist community and abbot of Kalmyk Geden Shedrup Chökhorling Monastery, along with approximately 340 devotees from within and beyond the Tibetan community, at the assembly hall of Drepung Gomang Monastery in Mundgod, South India.
