An interregional judo tournament for boys and girls born in 2015-2017 took place at the Oirat-Arena sports complex in Elista, drawing about 200 participants from Stavropol Krai, the republics of Dagestan and Kalmykia, and the Astrakhan, Volgograd, and Rostov regions. The event was timed to the Day of National Unity.
Organizers noted the symbolic nature of the gathering, bringing together young athletes of different nationalities and regions through their shared interest in the sport.
