Sculptor Nikolai Zhukov has completed the sculpting of the central Green Tara statue for the future Buddha Green Tara Park in Lag an. This is a new, independent image created specifically for Lag an and is not a copy of the six-meter statue in Elista.
Next steps include bronze casting, surface processing and patination, followed by delivery and installation. The project became possible after Lag an's victory in the All-Russian competition for comfortable urban environments under the national project "Infrastructure for Life." The park is intended as a major cultural and spiritual attraction.
