Cup of Three Khuruls National Wrestling Tournament

The annual Cup of Three Khuruls (Kubok trekh khurulov) national wrestling tournament is on Saturday, 12 September 2026 in the village of Malye Derbety. About 200 wrestlers from across Kalmykia were already entered. This year the tournament is tied to the reopening of Dund Khurul, the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, and the 180th anniversary of Baaza-bagshi, former abbot of Dund Khurul. One of the Dund Khurul clans will present the absolute champion with a named statuette of Baaza-bagshi and a prize for young wrestlers.
