Elista's Uralan won the regional qualifying stage of the Russian mini-football championship in the 8x8 format and will represent Kalmykia at the national final in Sochi from November 2 to November 7, 2026. This is the amateur mini-football side, not the third-division outdoor club RSSHOR Uralan.

Seven teams played in Elista on October 3 and October 4: Uralan, Iki-Burul Veterans, Lotus, Oirat-1, Tulpan of Yashkul, Ketchenery, and Arshan-Bulg. Uralan beat Tulpan 10-3 in the final. Ketchenery took third after a 5-5 draw with Iki-Burul Veterans, winning the penalty shootout 5-4.

Named players were Vladimir Mandzhiev of Iki-Burul Veterans, best goalkeeper; Denis Artaev of Ketchenery, best defender; Ochir Pyugenov of Tulpan, best midfielder; Evgeny Krasovsky of Uralan, best forward; Erdni Markhenov of Tulpan, top scorer with 8 goals; and Alexander Pavlikov of Uralan, best player.
