Residents Invited to Help Consecrate Green Tara Statue for New Park in Lagan

In the Lagan District of Kalmykia, a collection of donations has begun to support the consecration of a statue of Green Tara for a new park being built in her honor. The statue is planned for installation in the developing Green Tara Park.

Green Tara is revered in Kalmyk Buddhism as a symbol of boundless compassion, protection, and swift removal of obstacles.
